Safety tips

• Meet in person, in a public place. Many police stations offer a safe exchange zone.
• Never wire money, send gift cards or pay with crypto to someone you have not met.
• Check the item before you pay. For phones, make sure it is not locked to another account.
• Be careful with "overpayment" offers. A buyer who sends too much and asks for the difference back is a scam.
• Keep the conversation on USListHub until you are comfortable sharing your number.
• Trust your instincts. If a deal looks too good to be true, it probably is. Report the ad.
